OK, so you’ve reached middle age, or mid-career and you realize that retirement will come faster than you think … and you haven’t really been planning or saving.

Here are some things you can do.

  1. Make lifestyle changes (cutting back on or eliminating unnecessary expenses)
  2. Delay retirement until 70
  3. Get a job (if you’ve already left your career)
  4. Sell your home and downsize
