JMA Supports the Women’s Christian Association (WCA) Home
JMA is proudly supporting the Women’s Christian Association or “WCA” Home fundraiser. JMA has a special interest in the WCA since their office is located in the former home of the WCA’s founding benefactor and visionary, Marion H. Morris.
The WCA is celebrating its 125th anniversary this year. In honor of this milestone, its Board is collecting historical materials to preserve the timeline and narrative of the home’s existence. The goal is to learn more about the ten women who started the charity that would shelter and service women at their most vulnerable time — during old age and increasing frailty.
This task is quite a challenge and in addition to passion and hard work, it also requires connections and money. Hence, the need for a fundraiser. To match the 125 years of service, they are asking for donations of $125.
