Jagoda-Booth joins JMA as Partner
Johnson, Mackowiak & Associates, LLP (JMA) Partners Dave Mackowiak, Denise Veloski, and Linda J Harris have announced that Julie L. Jagoda-Booth, CPA has joined the JMA firm as partner.
At JMA, Jagoda-Booth will focus primarily on non-profit accounting and auditing, individual, small business and estate taxes, and consulting. Jagoda-Booth is also a QuickBooks® ProAdvisor and specializes in using the desktop and online versions of the software.
In addition to her CPA license, Jagoda-Booth holds a Master of Business Administration in accounting and finance from St. Bonaventure University.
Before joining JMA, Jagoda-Booth started out working for the City of Dunkirk as an intern and was with a regional accounting firm for 26 years, 16 years as shareholder and vice president.
With the addition of Jagoda-Booth, JMA has opened a new location in Sardinia, NY, which will be staffed by staff accountant Kira Domes, CPA and office manager Jodi Watz, both of whom Jagoda-Booth brought to JMA with her. Jagoda-Booth will meet with clients at both locations.
Jagoda-Booth, daughter of David and Janet Jagoda of Dunkirk, NY currently resides in Sardinia, NY with her husband John and takes an active role in the nearby communities as a member of the Arcade Area Chamber of Commerce and the Springville Area Chamber of Commerce. She is also a founding member and current treasurer of Supporting Rescue Alliance, a non-profit animal welfare group that assists in adopting dogs from high-kill shelters in Texas and grants wish list items to other animal welfare nonprofit organizations. Jagoda-Booth is also a member of the American Legion Post 62 Auxiliary in Dunkirk, NY.
