Kevin Wystup, CPA



Kevin joined Johnson, Mackowiak & Associates, LLP in 1983. Over the years, he has been involved with all facets of the firm, including tax preparation and tax planning for individuals, estates, trusts, partnerships, corporations, governmental units and nonprofit organizations.

Currently, he is responsible for the preparation of compiled, reviewed and audited financial statements for all types of entities. He is also the firm’s audit and quality control partner.

Originally from Dunkirk, NY, Kevin graduated magna cum laude from SUNY Fredonia in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. After graduating, he worked at two certified public accounting firms in the Youngstown, OH area.

Soon after being certified by the State of Ohio in 1982, he decided to return to Western New York and took a position as a staff accountant with Coppings, Johnson, Mackowiak and Myott, CPAs, the predecessor to JMA. In 1989, he was promoted to partner.

Kevin and his wife, Cindy, live in Fredonia and have two grown daughters, both of whom have graduated from SUNY Fredonia.
