Ask any accountant and they will most likely tell you that a career in accounting is no easy feat. Accountants, especially Certified Public Accountants (CPA’s), have a special type of brain power that not all people have, you know. In fact, to be able to compile complex financial data, know the state and federal regulations – that change every year – and to be able to satisfy your clients 100 percent of the time, can pose quite a challenge. However, accountants will also tell you that a career in public accountancy is both rewarding and fulfilling, especially if you have the support and guidance of others around you, and in the business.

Over the past three decades, Johnson, Mackowiak & Associates, LLP (JMA) has hosted interns from nearby colleges and universities to do just that; support and grow the next generation of accountants.
